A lawsuit in Boulder challenging the city's camping ban is facing likely dismissal after last week's U.S. Supreme Court's ruling on a similar ordinance in Oregon. The ACLU of Colorado filed the lawsuit in 2022 claiming Boulder's ban amounted to cruel and unusual punishment. The lawsuit wants to stop enforcement of the ban if shelter space is not available.
