Sandwich Monday

  • For this week's Sandwich Monday, we take a break from between two slices of bread, and try a drink on Taco Bell's breakfast menu. It combines Mountain Dew, orange juice, and profound personal sacrifice.
  • For this week's Sandwich Monday, we test if two great tastes really do taste great together: we try The Mac, from Cheesie's in Chicago. It's a Grilled Cheese Sandwich, topped with Macaroni and Cheese.
  • Just in time for your Super Bowl Party, the folks at Sandwich Monday post their famous 32 Layer Bean Dip recipe. Sure, it's only famous among cardiologists and emergency health workers, but don't let that stop you.
  • For this week's Sandwich Monday, we try a marvel of multiculturalism: the Reuben Egg Roll, from Hackney's Restaurant in Chicago.
  • For this week's Sandwich Monday, we try something they said couldn't be done: an unhealthier version of bacon. The restaurant Wiener And Still Champion just north of Chicago serves it breaded and deep-fried.
  • For this week's Sandwich Monday, Peter heads to London, where they call sandwiches "sarnies," according to Wikipedia. He and his adventurous family attempt to eat the classic British staple "steak and kidney pie," so you don't have to.
  • For this week's Sandwich Monday, we look back at the time we tried McDonald's beloved and mysterious McRib. It's usually out in October, but it comes a little late this year, so it's better timed as a sign of the coming apocalypse.
  • For this week's Sandwich Monday, we celebrate Hanukkah with the Latke Double Down, a Jewish take on the classic KFC sandwich which replaced bread with fried chicken. It's eight nights of calories in one, easy to hold package.
  • For this week's Sandwich Monday, we try McDonald's new CBO sandwich. CBO stands for "Cheddar, Bacon, Onion," but they have to put an asterisk after "Cheddar," because it's not really cheese. We don't know why they don't have to put an asterisk after "food."
  • For this week's Sandwich Monday, we make our own version of a special from Asia's Freshness Burger chain: The Butter And Sugar Burger. Spoiler alert: It has two ingredients, and they are butter and sugar. And it's on a bun.
