In The NoCo

Young Coloradans are taking action to shape a more hopeful future in the face of the climate crisis. Today on In the NoCo we talk with two Boulder Valley high school students who campaigned for the school district to adopt a climate resolution 鈥� successfully.

A principal at Whittier Elementary School found a white student made a discriminatory comment to a Black student. The family of the white student then sued the district for "unfair and selectively enforced disciplinary processes, and other discrimination on the basis of race."

Their focus will not be on academics, but on supporting students living in the affected communities.
