Welcome Home Celebration Saturday For Colorado Olympians

Coloradans will have the opportunity today to meet and greet with some of this year's Olympians on the heels of the Summer Games in London. The celebration begins at 3:30 this afternoon at Centennial Center Park. Governor John Hickenlooper will be in attendance. All 12 of this year's Colorado Olympians have been invited to the event.

Officials with the city of Centennial say all three of this year's medalists for Colorado have agreed to attend including Missy Franklin, Georgia Gould and Taylor Ritzel.

is from Centennial and is preparing to begin her senior year at Regis Jesuit High School. The 17-year-old swimmer won more Olympic medals (4 gold and 1 bronze) than any other woman who competed in the . 

is a Fort Collins native. Gould received a bronze medal in women's cross-country.

won a gold medal this summer in rowing. She is a Larkspur, Co native.
