Due to drought conditions and fire bans, fireworks are hard to find across Colorado now. Celebrating Independence Day without things that pop and flash can be tough, who doesn't miss traditional fireworks? While not a full substitute, here are a few amazing to watch slow motion videos.

uploaded this fascinating look at what happens to the typical firecracker after you light it and run. They've also posted , incredibly slowed down by shooting it at 15,000 fps.
