Governor John Hickenlooper has formally signed off on Amendment 64, making it legal for Coloradans over 21 to possess small amounts of marijuana without a doctor鈥檚 recommendation.
The action Monday formalizes as part of the state Constitution.
Hickenlooper also has authorized the creation of a task force to consider policy issues to help lawmakers craft regulations. You can read the official proclamation below:
