Mobile device and tablet users can now use their devices to confirm their voter registration. The Colorado Secretary of State鈥檚 office recently rolled out a mobile option that allows people to register or update their registration right from their smartphones or tablets.Updated 9:59 a.m.: However, a number of people who registered using a mobile device this month may not actually appear in the voter rolls due to a website glitch.
In a Wednesday, Secretary of State Scott Gessler announced the glitch may affect around 780 people who accessed using a mobile device between Sept. 14 and Sept. 24. He urges anyone who registered or updated their information with a tablet or smartphone to confirm their registration - and, if necessary, re-register.

Since the last election, a growing number of Colorado voters appear to be getting more comfortable with the online process.
"When we originally rolled out online voter registration in 2010, we saw a lot of young people using the system," says spokesman Rich Coolidge. "Now everyone鈥檚 using the system."
About 30 percent of activity on is now coming from the mobile version, Coolidge says. Besides registering to vote, smartphone or tablet users can also request and track mail ballots, or find their polling locations.
Colorado voters who want to participate in this November's election must be registered by Oct. 9th.
