Jimmy Carter is again a topic of discussion in the race, following that arose during the one year anniversary of the Osama bin Laden raid. The Obama campaign had an opportunity to respond Ryan Tuesday night with a video that was played during the Democratic National Convention.
was a stop in Lakewood that focused on the budget and the President鈥檚 record on the economy. Energy, a hot topic in Colorado, was also an issue brought to bear against Obama.
While the August event was more of a chance for the state to meet the newly selected VP choice, the campaign stop Thursday is labeled as a "victory rally" by the Romney campaign. The rally will be held at starting around 10 a.m.
