Two different, but great sounds of Colorado...
Well the is upon us. The fun started last night (Friday ;2/17), and continues till PM on Sunday with a great line-up of music, including , on two stages, workshops, jamming - *lots* of jamming - and all around fun.
I guess my love for the music of Sons and Brothers is no secret (I am so transparent, it's shameless); but this band from Southern Colorado is stellar. As can be heard, they can& burn on as well as share musical poetry.
Take a listen:
Sons and Brothers, "Texas Eagle" ( I am dedicating this one to Hogger extraordinaire, Hugo Lackman ♥)

"Wayfaring Stranger"

is another of Colorado's musical gems. Her music is very open, transparent and real with sparse production. Sometimes the only instrument is her ukulele. Which, incidentally, is the perfect accompaniment for her crystalline voice and enchanting and clever songs that give us a unique look at the world. Love her.
