is the daughter of Grammy-nominated folk & blues singer/songwriter Greg Brown. She is being called 鈥渙ne of the best modern songwriters鈥� (Sonic Boomers). Or, as one of Pieta鈥檚 own songwriting heroes, Iris Dement, put it, 鈥渙ne of the best poets I鈥檝e heard in a long damn time.鈥� Pieta is currently on tour, playing shows nationwide, a few with Amos Lee.
