The Radio Television Digital °µºÚ±¬ÁÏ Association has recognized the KUNC newsroom with three regional Edward R. Murrow Awards for excellence in journalism.
The regional Murrow (including Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming) awards come on the heels of KUNC receiving a national for excellence from the Society of Professional Journalists.
Reporter was the recipient of the three Murrow awards.

The RTDNA has been honoring outstanding achievements in journalism with the Edward R. Murrow Awards since 1971. Murrow Award recipients demonstrate the spirit of excellence that Edward R. Murrow made a standard for the broadcast news profession. are automatically eligible for the national awards competition, which will be judged in early June 2014.
