The April 20th avalanche near Loveland Pass that killed five people was the worst of its kind in more than fifty years.
The Colorado Avalanche Information Center released a final report this week on what may have happened. Much of the is based on the sole survivor of the slide, Jerome Boulay of Crested Butte.
