The 64th annual has diverted from its usual broad theme to point specifically this year to “Political Dialogue As It Should Be.”
The keynote address will be given this morning at 11:30 in by Alice Rivlin. Rivlen is a founding director of the bipartisan Congressional Budget office and a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. Her talk is entitled “Can the Center Hold: Democracy and Governance in a Polarized America.”
All of the conference’son topics ranging from journalism to jazz are free and open to the public.
