Colorado’s Cinco de Mayo celebrations run the gamut from traditional mariachi music and dancing to chihuahua racing.

Communities throughout Colorado will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo with lots of music, dancing, art and food. In Fort Collins, you can catch a variety of musical acts including Mariachi Vasquez, a family act that presents a modern update on traditional mariachi music. includes a Saturday parade through Downtown and a mariachi mass, Sunday, May 8. In Greeley, they’ve got chihuahua races and a jalapeno eating contest.

The Punk Rock Flea Market will feature 120 vendors where folks can buy, sell, or trade anything from vinyl to music equipment to vintage clothes - all with a punk-rock theme.
