The public will get a first-hand look at the scientific lessons and questions emerging from the High Park Fire this Monday.

Cheng will moderate a panel Monday at 6:30 looking at High Park restoration, action and recovery. This particular forum is specifically geared toward the public, and can connect the community with information and opportunities.
鈥淲e鈥檝e been used to thinking about fires in the hundreds and thousands of acres, now we have to think of them in tens and hundreds of thousands of acres,鈥� he said. 鈥淔or me it鈥檚 a bit of a miracle that we haven鈥檛 seen more losses of property and life. And I think that鈥檚 a testament to the professionalism of the fire community.鈥�
