Super Bowl LVIII will be in Las Vegas this weekend — one of the biggest sports (and betting) events of the year being played in a city synonymous with gambling. But there was once a time the NFL, or any pro sports league, wouldn't even allow a team in the city.

The Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers on the strength of their defense. It was the biggest football game of the year — so we covered it with the littlest poems we can think of: haiku.
