The National Science Foundation, which is managed by the federal government, recently canceled funding for hundreds of research projects. One of those programs, designed by a professor at CU, would have used social media to teach young people about how artificial intelligence works. But the grant proposal contained the word 鈥渕isinformation鈥� -- and the professor thinks that鈥檚 why the project was killed.
