Firefighters are close to fully containing a wildfire burning in a remote area of Colorado's Roosevelt National Forest, south of the Wyoming border.
The Roach Fire is currently 75 percent contained, and crews expect to have it fully surrounded sometime Friday.
The 130-acre fire is burning about three miles south of the Wyoming state line, in a tract of lodgepole pines hit hard by mountain pine beetles.
Amid heavy firefighting traffic in the area, Forest Service Road 203 is closed, as reports. No homes or structures are threatened.
Arapaho-Roosevelt National Forest spokeswoman Reghan Cloudman says visitors should be cautious, especially over the Labor Day weekend.
The cause of the fire, , is under investigation. The blaze is actually smaller than estimated earlier in the week, thanks to better mapping.
