Updated: A Dec. 18 district court hearing had been set to hear a case between Broomfield election officials and a pro-fracking group over voting irregularities with a 5-year fracking moratorium that voters narrowly approved. It has been delayed pending another case.
Update 4:21 p.m. 12/17/13 - A Broomfield district court judge has postponed the hearing pending the outcome of Hanlen v. Gessler, which is expected to be heard within the next week.

Broomfield election officials following a recount. According to a motion to decertify Question 300, the Broomfield Balanced Energy Coalition requested access to election-related materials like ballot logs which were “either partially responded to or not responded to at all.”
This is the latest development in a long, protracted battle over voting irregularities.
In November, the Colorado Secretary of State issued a report criticizing how Broomfield election officials handled the original vote count. [.pdf] concluded that the Clerk’s office committed “several errors in conducting the election.”
The Dec. 18 hearing could decide whether BBEC gains access to certain documents, and whether the election results remain uncertified.
